Terra has been the owner/creator of Beauty Parade since it's opening in Oct. 2003. She is a certified Framesi Technician, a leading hair color and styling company with it's origins in Italy. She is also Certified in the Framesi Italian style cutting method and has been a stylist for 13yrs. Some of her many talents include retro styling, amazing up-do's, stunning make-up application and unmatchable coloring skills. She has been voted one of the top three stylists in the Western North Carolina Mountain Xpress poll by her loyal clients during her entire career at Beauty Parade. Melissa Toney

Melissa has always been in love with everything beauty related. When people look in the mirror and like what they see, it can empower them. Giving them the self confidence to go out into the world and conquer whatever they want is one of the many aspects she enjoys about this industry. True beauty comes from the heart, but feeling good about the outside Often leads to achieving that balance of energy between both. Being in the beauty industry for 20 years has allowed her to see styles come, go, and return again. Often times with just a little tweak. Being a hairstylist satisfies Melissa in a way that no other job can. It allows her to create, help others feel good, and have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. Sarah Samples

Sarah comes to Beauty Parade from Brooklyn, NY, where she gave clients edgy, rock ‘n’ roll-inspired cuts, colors, and styles. After graduating from the Paul Mitchell School in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sarah found her niche in razor cuts, men’s barbering, and creative color. She has won numerous awards for her work and has taken hair extension, style, and color classes from Angus Mitchell and color specialists from Rome. She loves giving clients cuts that fit their personalities; from roller derby girls to heavy metal guitarists, Sarah enjoys provid sarah ing styles that make a bold statement. In her spare time, Sarah trains for the Tetris World Championships and plays with her adorable pup, Claire. She loves working at Beauty Parade and keeping Asheville snazzy.

MOrgan Deweese

Morgan is a talented stylist from Virginia where she worked at a top Salon and Spa at Winter Green resort. She has assisted owner Terra Marshall and moved into her own chair as stylist after careful study under Beauty Parade's owner. She shines at customer satisfaction and aims to please. Her sweet voice and pleasant personality add to her many skills and talents as a stylist.

Tonya Payne

Tonya is a versatile and talented stylist that adds to Beauty Parade's team. Tonya has 6 years of professional experience in the beauty industry, she started her cosmetology career in Savannah, Ga at The Cosmetology Institute of Hair Design and finished her education in Hickory, NC at Catawba Hair Styling Academy. She also continues her education by attending numerous hair/trade shows and color classes. Tonya's specialty is fine/thinning hair, natural ethnic hair, and complete hair color and cut transformations. She is gifted in all aspects of hair styling and customer satifaction.
